All People and society taught me to cover myself up at all points of time. And told me all time don,t do and don,t this,We, women, society are warned. We have inquired to cover. We are inquired to be ashamed of ourselves. We are slut-shamed. We are sexualized and objectified.
We are believe that covering is the only way of life. And so, We grow up to believe just that.We have now become accustomed to cover ourselves up in public. We recognize that it is in fact our amenableness to protect ourselves by trying to be ‘not so much sexual’. What is that even supposed to mean?
ELLE and WEvolve Global have come up with a amazing video which questions the stereotypical ideas of how men and women should behave and we consider this is a stunning way to stand on gender equality.
Now is the time to move on to change the thinking, to be independent, to take a stand, to change attitudes.Let us be.We should be able to wear what we want, do what we want. Our lives, our choices. Time we change these attitudes and claim our right and spaces.
