Four women in the trailer shown how Indian society towards women are strict rules and challenge thinking. Small-town living is based on four women.

The film produced by Prakash Jha and directed by Alankrita Srivastava. The film’s stars Ratna Pathak, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumra, Plabita Borthakur,in the lead.

Lipstick under My Burkha is based on the story of four women who are fed up with their life. Konkona Sen Sharma plays an unhappy housewife in the film seem to have the mother of three. Ratna Patak is playing 55 – year old who’s rediscovering her sexuality with a younger man. Ahana Kumra is playing a beautician and actress plebita play a collage girl role.
